Problems Moving to ST3 - colors and formatting messed

I use ST2 on MacOS Yosemite.
I checked all ny packages, and they should work with ST3
I downloaded and installed ST3
When I run ST3 its totally unusable as the colors and formatting are totally messed up. the side bar and tabs are unreadable, the command palette cones up with no background, and black text, and so on.
I suspect I’ve got something screwed up with preferences, but I have no idea what.
ST2 is just fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You must likely didn’t download the theme you were using and it’s still pointing to the old one in you settings. Just edit the user settings file by removing the theme line.
