Problems installing/upgrading to build 4180

#1

Good afternoon, I recently tried to update sublimetest on my second work laptop. The update process ends without installing and generating errors (despite the update package downloading correctly).
The same thing happens with a “clean” installation starting from the installer downloaded from your site.

Do you have any useful suggestions to solve my problem?

Thank you.

What platform are you using?

Windows 10 64bit

Using the portable version, Sublime Text works, but I would like to understand how to install it (resident) and why it does not complete the installation (both of the upgrade version and of the stand-alone version).

Are there any error messages from the installer? Do you have administrator permissions on your computer?

Yes, I have administrator privileges.
I ask you, isn’t there a log file that I can forward to you
to help you understand the problem?

There isn’t any log file for the installer. It should alert you if it encounters an error.

Our installer hasn’t changed in a very long time. Do you perhaps have an anti-virus or similar program that could be interfering?

Don’t you have any other suggestions to give me?
The problem is quite annoying…

You might be able get our installer to produce some logs since we use innosetup. If you run whatever-sublime-text-installer.exe /LOG="C:\FileName.log" from a command prompt it should produce a log file.
