Problem using Sublime with Google drive on Ubuntu

#1

I have Sublime working on two windows 10 machines and a Ubuntu laptop. As I want to be able to work on the same files and projects from each of these machines, I’ve set up a Google drive on each. I can access the same files from each machine without problem and can open and save from Sublime from both of the windows machines. I can find and open Python .py files from the Ubuntu machine too but the file name seems to change to a long string within Sublime and loses it’s .py extension. Is there a way to get this working correctly please? Would it work better or easier with OneDrive or iDrive?

Many thanks in advance,

Kind regards,

Mark

This is likely due to how you’ve mounted your files. The builtin method results in those file names, but other methods do not. See https://askubuntu.com/questions/1332050/google-drive-repository-from-the-terminal.
