Print functionality

Hello guys,

I think Sublime Text is the best editor I ever used, but it lacks of a functionality… the print features. I know it was already requested, but I think it should be implemented.

This is a perennial request, and the answer has always been that:

  1. Printing is complicated to implement, dealing with finicky devices and services. Implementing (and maintaining) printing would take time and resources away from text editing features.
  2. Most users don’t care about printing. This doesn’t mean it isn’t important for those users, but that the return in user satisfaction is likely to be low overall compared to text editing features.
  3. Various third-party packages already provide print functionality. If a user really does need to print their code, they can probably find a package that works they way they want. A core implementation would probably be one-size-fits-few.

In fact, I requested a 3rd parts extensions menu too, so we can support different features autonomously relieving the original developer from this task
