Print command does not work properly on ST4 Ubuntu 20.04

#1

The title says it all. When one invokes the print command with a file loaded, one is presented with a blank screen.
However, if one refreshes the browser page, and selects “Print using system” from the side menu, one can print the file.
However, this is confusing and it took some time to ascertain.
ST4 Build 4107 Ubuntu 20.04 Windowing System X11
Edit: Sorry, I was wrong. The file does not print even using the above method.
It only appears to print.

It’s working fine for me on Ubuntu 20.04, X11, build 4107. “Print using system” isn’t a default option, perhaps you have a plugin overriding the default print command?

I deleted “ExportHTML” and “View in Browser” but it made no difference.
I can print if I refresh the browser page, then escape out to a page with text on it, then invoke the print command again, and print the page.
It may be a paths issue, I don’t know.
I am disappointed with this command. It was mostly the main reason I upgraded to the new version, but it is clumsy.
I was hoping for a proper print command, but this seems to be an adaptation of ExportHTML.

What browser are you using? When it opens the file in the browser it should be triggering the print functionality, though this is blocked on some browsers and you’ll need to manually print.
