Possible to have folder name on open file tab?

I seem to remember this working before, but maybe I am going crazy. I thought that an open file would be show “filename - folder” in the tab area, but now that isn’t happening.
I would prefer “foldername/filename” if possible.
I am running ST3 on Ubuntu. I tried fresh installs of ST2/ST3 on Ubuntu and Windows and nothing like that happens. Any idea how to get this functionality? It’s driving me crazy.

It only shows that if you have two files open with identical filenames.
