PopClip?

#1

PopClip (pilotmoon.com/popclip/) shows iOS-style cut/copy/paste bubbles when selecting text on MacOS X, but it doesn’t work with Sublime Text. Is there any chance of implementing similar functionality for Sublime Text? It’s more convenient than keyboard shortcuts or contextual menus when selecting text with the mouse. Another option would be implementing Oberon/Acme-style mouse cording (interclicking).

Hi! Nick, developer of PopClip here.

You can teach PopClip to work with Sublime Text 2 as follows:

  1. Begin selecting text in Sublime Text.
  2. Before you release the mouse button, press Caps Lock.
  3. ‘Learn’ will appear; click!

and I’ll also add Sublime Text to the default supported apps in the next release.
