Whenever I open sublime text, I get an error message saying that ‘plugin_host has exited unexpectedly,’ and that I won’t get plugin functionality until I restart sublime (which, of course, just gives me another error).
I looked at what the console had to say:

error: plugin_host has exited unexpectedly, plugin functionality won't be available until Sublime Text has been restarted

indexing [queue 1]: unable to spawn workers
so that wasn’t much help. Additionally, I tried to check for a sublime update, and was told that sublime was ‘unable to fetch update url contents.’
If anyone could shed some light here, that would be cool.

disabling SFTP doesn’t do anything, because the plugin host doesn’t even start
