Plugin_host has exited unexpectedly (latest sublimetext on windows xp)

Hi group/tech support,

AFAIK no plugins were added to my fresh ST installation, but this error every now and then (rather rarely) pops up after starting ST (nothing happens) and re-starting it a second time (ST starts with this message box; see jpeg)

Windows xp (i haven’t had any such message on Windows 7/10 32/64bit) since ST, as an editor, loads the fastest with the most features for XP (beating all competition)

Sorry if this issue has been addressed already, would love to see it solved (for my XP installation)

TIA,

lohen

I don’t know whether XP is still supported.

In case it is still supported (in versions to come), it makes the difference between buying a license or not; Xp is required for a personal project (with a long history)

At this stage I’m not using ST (except for the regular startup as mentioned, to see whether said anomaly still occurs, from version update to the next), but I would prefer ST over editors from other vendors (not so many still supporting Xp with a swift startup efficiency)

But yes, (latest) ST still works on XP too

If the tech ppl gradudally move away from Xp, there won’t be any version without this anomaly, hence why reporting it
