Plugin Emmet not running in sublime text3

I want to ask I have installed the Emmet plugin and when I type “!” which I expected came out the HTML structure but why there was no reaction

It worked for me. (Had to reinstall Emmet because I uninstalled it at some point—Emmet tab completion becomes very slow on large files, in my experience.)

Did you remember to press the tab key after entering “!”? :grin:

It worked for me too.

Couple things:

  • what version of ST you use?
  • did you install Emmet strictly from PackageControl?
  • did you tried it on fresh portable installation without any other packages?
  • did you set html syntax in this file?
  • show example this file where you tried to do this
