Plain text syntax color scheme issue

#1

I’m using latest MacOS Big Sur 11.6 appearance set to White and Sublime Text build 4113 with
Adaptive theme and Sixteen color scheme.

Opening plain text files will display black background color, changing the color scheme for particular extension is ignored. All other file extensions work as intended displaying white background.
Disabling all plugins, reinstalling Sublime wont resolve the issue.

Note that reinstalling ST won’t have any effect. Does it happen in safe mode?

In safe mode text files are displayed correctly. Investigated a bit, Session.sublime_session file contains “settings” dictionary which contained “syntax”: “Packages/Text/Plain text.tmLanguage” and it was removed long time ago. Edited session file by removing these lines fixed the issue. Sublime should ignore these settings when plugin is missing.
