Hello,
I’m new to c and I’ve been trying to switch from Xcode to Sublime Text 3. I can easily create a c file in Xcode but I keep getting a permission denied message every time I try to create a c file in Sublime Text. I haven’t used Sublime Text before so I’m still getting used to it. I have the full paid version and I’m running it on OSX. Can someone please explain to me in simple English how to get sublime text to work with c. I’ve tried to follow a few youtube videos but most of them are working on a pc.

Just to ask an obvious question, since no one else has replied: where are you trying to save the file to? Is it the same directory as in Xcode, or are you accidentally trying to save the C file in a directory protected by the OS?
