Permission denied-help!

I’m getting an Error: Permission denied and can’t save any changes please help

Save the file to a folder you have write access to.

Try revert Sublime Text to a clean install:

  1. https://www.sublimetext.com/docs/3/revert.html

This usually happens if you open Sublime Text as root some time, or you are trying to save root files, when you do not have permission to.

You are getting that error because you are trying to save the file in the Sublime Text program directory, which is privileged.
Either save the file in your documents directory or create a sub-directory (folder) called (for instance), HTML in the documents directory and save it there.
