Problem: Edits made by pasting over selected text are not saved in the actual HTML file after uploading to the server whereas edits made by deleting the selected text first and then pasting the new content on the remaining space result in the edits being saved.
Is this a ST thing or something peculiar to HTML files ?
I ask as deleting the old text first is an extra operation and slows things down if there are many page-states in the project.
