Package Control Sublime 3

#1

Hello All

I just have to say I am loving the “Idea” of this package so far. I have been wavering between Aptana and Sublime. So far sublime is been winning. The main reason is because of the documentation ie Jeffery Way and the tuts+ presentation.

I have thus far almost completed the first chapter and wanted to check it off but I have come to a standstill.

I am getting:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File “”, line 1, in
ImportError: No module named ‘urllib2’
Oh way back when a couple of hours ago I tried to run the wbond installer. ( a few times with full system restarts)

So that is my story. Wah…Wah…Waahh!

Don’t get me wrong I am sure the fault is mine for being mentally challenged or lazy somehow though I have actually taken the extra steps of looking at the
“Sublime Text 3 Compatible Packages and ST3 Compatibility List”. I also have tooled around trying to find an answer right here in the forums.

I will at this point reveal that I am an unlicensed user who is trepidaciously exploring my options before coughing up the dough. You say how could so many happy users be wrong…I don’t eat McDonalds (much) either.

So all that said I will now get to my point and ask my questions starting from simple to complex as far as answering them. No need to address them all.

Is it the fact that I need to be registered or is it a version thing? Hunh?

Is this just the lazy thing that I could solve by searching the F.A.Q. better or paying more attention to things that a written down somewhere?

I there a trick to installing this on a window 7 64bit machine that I you are about to explain in plain English or point me to another resource?

Is the course I am so happy about so outdated and useless that the fact that I don’t get that point just make it obvious that I should just quit now and use a word press template or spend the thousand doll hairs for DreamWeaver?

OK its rolling onto to 3:am here and I am getting a little punchy and wordy.

Thanks for the consideration!

Hey all

Just answered my own question!

Install Sublime 2.“whatever it is” and the installer works like a charm!

I am still very interested in the work around for the new version.
