Every time I open Sublime, Package Control Messages pops up with version 3.0 release notes. If the messages are still up from last time, it writes the same messages again at the bottom of the file. Even worse, it waits 5 seconds so that it can interrupt my workflow. How do I make it stop spamming me?
Package Control issue
I’m having the same issue. I’m on Windows 8.1, running Sublime Text 3 dev build 3066.
I had the same problem. In my case I renomed the folder below:
%user%\AppData\Roaming\Sublime Text 3\Packages
…
PyV8 to PyV8-v

If you keep getting the release notes and are using Windows, then you may not be running the snippet of code that the release notes include.
There is a file locking issue on Windows that Package Control 2.0 didn’t properly work around, so to upgrade to PC 3.0 requires some manual work.
Alternatively you can follow the directions at packagecontrol.io/docs/troubles … d_Versions.

Thank you! I’ve used this method (even though I couldn’t do all the steps). Basically I deleted all the files about Package Control and I’ve installed it again! Thanks.
