My license for ST4 needs update, and I’m kind of wondering what the future of ST4 even is. In 2023 there were 3 stable releases, same in 2024. In 2025 it was down to 2, and here in 2026 there’s been one so far, and that comes OVER one year after the previous update. Can we get some kind of commitment as to how often we’ll at least get bug fix updates? I don’t expect features very often, but I’d like to see bug fixes a little more frequently and a year and four months.

I still use Sublime Text 4 most of the time in my projects.
They improved it so much since few years ago when it was a total mess with autocomplete and everything. I still get some errors here and there from a color highlighter package, but hey, it loads very fast and auto indentation works flawlessly. But recently I discovered PHP Storm and the inline AI completion and also some other cool features (removing tags backwards, color highlighting through css variables and so on) made to cancel my sublime subscription.
The lack of updates and forgotten packages also made me take this decision. Plus I consider the license price a bit expensive if you compare these 2 apps and their features.
