It’s not exactly a tutorial, but you might want to look at the color scheme documentation, namely:
- A minimal example.
- The minimum recommended scopes for coverage.
If this is just for personal use, I recommend that you just find a color scheme that is close to what you like and tweak it instead of creating a new one from scratch. The PackageDev: Edit Current Color Scheme command in the PackageDev plugin will help you do that.
