OSX shift-click to highlight doesn't work anymore

With version 3.0, build 3143 on OSX 10.12.6 (16G1212) I can’t get shift-click to highlight a selection anymore. It used to work on previous builds on OSX. This is a OSX system-wide idiom for highlighting text in a text area.

The way it is supposed to work.

  1. Mouse click to place the cursor
  2. Hold shift and click somewhere else
  3. All the text between the original cursor and the new click location should be selected and highlighted.

Mouse click drag selection for text selection still works in Sublime.

Is anyone else seeing this behavior?

I have 3143, and no problems with shift-click. I does exactly what you described.

I did some investigation and I discovered that it was the Ensime plugin that was preventing shift-click highlighting from working. I think it’s this bug.
