Osx material theme adaptive

I am using sublime text 3, and the material theme. When first upgrading to S3, the material theme was “adaptive” so it carried over to the chrome, which was damn awesome. With this latest build, it reverted back to it’s unadaptive ways:

Anyone else have this issue? Is there a new config?

Thanks in advance. Might seem like a minor thing but it really does make the screen less distracting.

I didnt notice any high CPU usage myself. Anyone know if any specific os/versions this was occurring on?

I think the issue seems to be with MacOS High Sierra as I had problems with the theme as soon as I upgraded.
