Opening subl starts a new ST process

#1

Ugh, I don’t know what I did this time, but it really screwed up Sublime Text. For whatever reason, when I Sublime Text through the terminal, I get one process, but iIf I open it by double clicking on the app icon or through spotlight, I will get a second process, and vice versa. This not only opens the file I specified, but re-opens everything that I was working on the last time I quite Sublime Text.

(Mac OSX 10.11.6)

So far, I’ve tried

  • Re-linking subl
  • Loaded without plugins by renaming ~/Library/Application\ Support/Sublime\ Text\ 3
  • Reinstalling Sublime Text
  • Restarting the computer
  • Crying
  • Drinking

No go so far. I’d appreciate some thoughts and input.

In the terminal, are you the same user, or do you su / sudo?
