If you have Sublime set to open documents in tabs, not new window, and you have it in fullscreen mode in OS X 10.10.x or 10.11.x, opening a document from the Finder into Sublime will foreground the app but not the right space, so you still have to switch desktops. I think, since Sublime uses that weird GDI style window container, you’ll need to tickle the window to say “bring me to the foreground”
