Open preferences in standard tab

In a relatively new change, Sublime Text 3 now opens user preferences and the default settings side by side in a new window.

Is there any way to open user preferences the way it used to (i.e. in a standard tab), or a setting to make it revert to the old way of opening preferences?

I don’t know if there’s a specific option. But previous command still work

Settings in a new window? (ST3, Windows)

Hello, If I'm the only one who is surprised (in wrong way) how Settings is now handled? I'm the person who doesn't like when you editor knows better how to display to you it's settings. Personally I think that opening completely a new window with spliced Default and User Settings is wrong - brings only confusion to user.
