"open in browser" is not working

#1

I’m using a macbook pro OSX El Capitan.

I had deleted all of my files and reinstalled because I kept getting this error:

Error trying to parse settings: No data in ~/Library/Application Support/Sublime Text 2/Packages/User/JSON.sublime-settings:1:1

I had a programmer set up everything a year ago, and I don’t know what he did regarding any of the builds.

Pretty much the only thing I want to be able to do is "right click > “open in browser” (Google Chrome).

HELP!!!

So, do you still get that error? Why does “open in browser” not work? It seems to me that it’s actually not there, if that is what you mean.

Hi FichteFoll,

I’m still getting the problem.

When I right-click and choose “open browser” nothing happens. However, when I go to the .HTML file in the folder and double-click it there, the file will open in my browser.

I’m using a Macbook and have my default browser set to Chrome (not sure if that’s the issue?). Do I have to change my Sublime preferences to open with Chrome (and not Safari, because I’m using a Mac)?
