Myself as well as as 20+ students are trying to use the right click -> open in browser function.
Most have Chrome or Chrome canary set as the default browser.
When we click “open in browser”, it tries to open Firefox. Sometimes it freezes and then tries to open Safari.
So many people having this issue -has anyone found a fix? I’m not looking for a plugin that replicates the functionality, I’m looking for a fix for the build in functionality.
The issue must have something to do with OSx or you perhaps have a plugin interfering. The function works perfectly here on Linux and Windows. It just opens the file in the default browser for the operating system. Did you try a portable install?
I am facing the same issue. Tried another plugin named “View in browser” and also tried to create a new Build System, which launches Chrome, but nothing seems to work. Did you found any fix for this issue?
