Is there a method to open a file from a third party app into a specific ST window?
In case that is abstract, here is the scenario:
- multiple instances of ST are open any given time
- all open windows of ST are instances of projects
- editing epubs with Sigil, ST is the external editor
- if I exercise the option in Sigil to open a file in ST, that file will be opened in the last instance of ST that had focus, not necessarily the one designated with the project name “epub-editing”
There is the argument --project <project> for Sublime. Editing sigil.ini file for the command line to open html files, that argument had no effect. Files still open in the last instance of ST that had focus.
Has anyone had a similar need and discovered a method to open a file this way?
