Open every new search result in a new tab/window

I upgraded to ST4 recently, and I was using a very old ST3. I copied all my ST3 settings to ST4, and mostly it works well. Buuut not the search results. In ST3 every Find In Files results opened a new tab, but now every new search result is added to the one Find Results tab. There’s only ever 1 Find Results tab. I want 1 tab per search. Is that not possible in ST4 anymore? I’ve looked through the settings, but can’t find any that do this.

The Use Buffer option when searching is ON. There’s no pane at the bottom. I want tabs/windows.

I don’t think that’s ever been a setting. Perhaps you had a plugin installed that did that?

Indeed it used to only open new windows if you had a plugin helping you out like mentioned in How can I start a new find_in_files tab with the old one exist?

Somebody said a plugin they wrote to do this stopped working in ST4 https://github.com/sublimehq/sublime_text/issues/4509#issuecomment-916495253 but that was already fixed
