I tried to look through several of the other crashing topics, but did not see one that mimics my issue.
I have a project open and can edit for hours and then all of the sudden it will crash when I hit Shift-Down Arrow (after having been using Shift-Down Arrow to select text many, many times without issue). After it does that once, it will do it reasonably often (once an hour or so) until I reboot. The exact key combination may be a red herring, as other key presses may cause it too, but the shift-down arrow is what I see it with every time I can remember it happening.
Seeing as how I have no idea how much work I lose when this occurs since Sublime Text is nice enough to cache file data, it is causing me some concern. The version is 3.2.1 Build 3207. The OS is Ubuntu 18.04.
The only packages I am running are syntax highlighters for Verilog, VHDL, and Bitbake. The crashes are occurring when I have no files of those type open while working in a large C project.
I have disabled those packages and am continuing onward for now to see if it improves, but I was hoping that maybe someone can tell me why this happens on random occasions but with the same key combination.
If there is any other information that I can provide, let me know, as I would like to have my editor not shut down randomly.
Thanks,
Rich
