Numeric keypad not working via vnc

Hi. I’m using sublime text on an ubuntu machine connected via vnc from a laptop running windows 10.
The problem is that doesn’t work.If i press them sublime text uses its secondary functions.
for example with num lock enabled if I press 4 i get from console “shift+left”, if I press 4 with num lock disabled I get “left”.
That only happens via vnc… All other programs works well, only sublime text doesn’t recognise it.
