No Windows explorer context integration with latest build

#1

I had build 4126 from 2021 installed on Windows, in C:\Program Files\Sublime Text 3.

The auto upgrade installed the new 2022 release, but in C:\Program Files\Sublime Text, and so it kept launching the old copy which wanted to upgrade itself every time.

Now I’ve removed that, but I don’t have any Sublime entries in the Windows Explorer context menu. I’ve tried reinstalling and that hasn’t helped. I see some references to the old path in the registry still.

What’s the best way to clean this up and get the Explorer integration working again?

Does the ST installer not do the Windows context menu itself? I don’t remember setting it up manually, but it was a few years ago that I first installed it on this computer. I found this package - https://packagecontrol.io/packages/WindowsContextMenu - to do it later.

To be fair, ST does provide context menu during installation. But that’s not satifying enough so https://packagecontrol.io/packages/WindowsContextMenu is created.

Since your case if moving from C:\Program Files\Sublime Text 3 to C:\Program Files\Sublime Text, I am not sure whether it’s a corner case that ST installer doesn’t deal with. But I think reinstalling should work…

This screenshot is ST 3 but it’s the same for ST 4 if my memory serves me right.

Thanks… somehow I completely overlooked this on the first page of the installer.
