Hello,
I just recently downloaded ver 2.0.2 build 2221 on a windows 7 machine. When I try to open a new file or folder there is no dialog box. A new unnamed file opens. To name it I have to then close it and a save as dialog appears.
Is there a setting I need to toggle? I looked a the defaults and didn’t fine anything useful.

ST simply creates an empty buffer that you can save if you want. There are plugins that allow you to name a file, then open that file automatically. Though I don’t know of any that opens a File Dialog box like you are expecting. You can try something like github.com/skuroda/Sublime-AdvancedNewFile. There are likely others, those are just two that I know of. You also don’t have to close the file to save it. You can save it by pressing ctrl+s, as you would with other editors.
