New to programming. Tutorial for ST2?

I just started taking the Intro to Computing course offered at my college and I’m glad to find this text editor early on. For our class we’re working on Linux Ubuntu learning C++. During class, our professor showed us Emacs, which had a lot of great features, but I ultimately like Sublime Text 2 better.

One thing I liked about Emacs, however, was the built-in tutorial which went through basic features as well as intricate functions. Has anyone made something similar to this for ST2?

I’ve found videos, but I prefer something I can easily follow and use the commands at the same time as being taught. (Videos are great, but in some situations, I don’t want to have to copy a hundred lines of code from the video just to work with one keystroke.)

Any advice for a new learner would also be great!

  4. take a look on net tuts (i remember that there was some articles about ST)
