New to coding, building first practice site

Hi!
I am currently learning coding, and have started to build my first practice site. I was using html.com and it suggested Sublime text, when I got to the point of where it said to save as “index.html” in a folder and click it to see my new webpage, it didn’t come up with anything, just opened sublime back up, am I missing a step?

Open the index.html file with a browser, don’t just click it.
