i had old versions of both apps, so i updated my licence and then downloaded the latest versions (assuming that before installing the new versions that the installer would do a scan to see if they would actually work) unfortunately there was no checking of whether the new one would work … it was fine for SUBLIME TEXT, which was fine but MERGE crashed and the report created is too big for this report, tho i can send it to you
fyi i am running a MacPro mid-2010 running OSX10.13.6 (which now is seriously out of date, but i am doing it for creative reasons), more details will be included in the apple crash report, if/when i can send it to you
