My javascript files are not connecting with my html files

Hello,

I hope you are doing well.

My html files are not connecting with my javascript files. Both files happened to be in the same folder. Also, I have typed the typical connection method of <script src “whateverfile.js”>
And obviously the file has been saved with that same name.
I do not seem to have any errors as shown in the console. I literally have tried everything but I feel there has to be something wrong with sublime.

should be the correct connection written in the html file to the js file created. Please check and see your have that write. Aside that make sure your JavaScript structure is intact, acknowledging commas and semi-colons9
