Multiple selection and edit hijack

#1

on multiple selection and edit, why does the focus move to the last selection?

for example: open a file that spread beyond the screen size (to the bottom) and do selectAll (ctrl+a) followed by splitSelectionIntoLines (ctrl+shift+l), now just press once the left arrow (this is just a simple example), you are now teleported to the end of the file… this happen mostly when having multiple selection (after alt+f3), so when you start edit, the focus jumps to the last selection.

i found this annoying since if i wanted to change where the focus is, i would have change it. me - the user - just decided where i want to be on the scenario of multiple selection/edit why does sublime ‘hijack’ me to another place?
