Multiple Issues when launching Sublime Text

1.Error trying to parse settings: “Expected value in Packages /user/Plain.text. sublime_settings:2:5”

I’ve attempted to resolve all this be deleting and reinstall but that doesn’t work.

After I dismiss all this mess the application does launch but while building/running a python program I get an error the the node.js package manager has something wrong with it??!

What to do?

I would recommend cleaning up your data folder - https://www.sublimetext.com/docs/3/revert.html - and starting fresh. Reinstalling the app does not change your user settings or packages.
