Sublime Text supports multiple groups of views to easily manage several files next to each other in a single window.
What you see is a 2-column layout with 2 groups of views.
Layouts are changed via key bindings ( alt+shift+1...9) or via main menu > View > Layout > ....
Just hit alt+shift+1 to enable single group layout.
