Move files and folders

#1

Sublime Text 3 has no folder and file management. No other editor I have used does not have a File Manager. Sublime Text NEEDS FOLDER AND FILE MANAGEMENT!

Sublime doesn’t even include basic file manager move command, so you have to download another tool to move files and update links in files. There was once upon a time Quick File Move package, but it no longer works except to add a useless Move… command to otherwise useless SideBarEnhancements. We get the picture, plugin to use plugin to… USELESS!

Any other editor lets you move files and update links, so try any of these, and add to list if we want to turn this thread into the longest thread ever at forum.sublimetext.com… Personally, I hope we don’t have to leave file management to plugins. The first thing we all do to create a site is make folders and files. It seems that a file manager should be the most important feature of Sublime Text, and a File Manager should be included as part of the Sublime Text Application. Let’s start with the two approaches (built in gems and plugin trash) and I am 100% absolutely certain that as you try all four, you will find built in File Managers (e.g., Dreamweaver and WebStorm) are far more extensively intuitive, always reliable, and lightening fast!
