Move cursor to beggining and select

Hello,
Is there a possibility to set cursor in any place, and then select text between it and the beginning of line? I have something like this:

xxxccxxxxddx : $(’#yyy’).val(),
xccx : $(’#yyy’).val(),
and would like to remove everthing before “:” in each line.

You could do a regex search for

^([^:]*)(:)

and replace with

${2}
