Mouse jumps on program switch

I’m experiencing this irritating behaviour working with two screens with different resolutions (2560x1440 & 1920x1080):
Whenever I switch to an other program the mouse jumps some 300 - 450 pixels up (and back down if I switch back to ST3). This happens on both screens and also if I synchronise the screens. Also the displacement is not always the same, it seems to be dependent on the y-position of the mouse, which made me think it might have to do with the different resolutions.
