Been meaning to report this minor annoyance for a while …
When I purchased my license, I saved it from my browser as a PDF and then copy and paste it into ST when I need it (e.g. when I get a new computer).
Unfortunately, the license dialog is very sensitive to white space and line breaks and what is pasted from the PDF doesn’t work as shown in the screenshot. If I reformat the pasted text by hand so that it looks like what’s in the PDF, the license is accepted.
(Ok, apparently I can’t add a screenshot because “Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached.”)
So, imagine pasting the license comes out mostly as one long line with spaces instead of newlines and submitting it results in the “That license key doesn’t appear to be valid.” error dialog.
