Markers (a la Emacs)

#1

Does sublime has the concept that is called a Marker in Emacs?

Explanation: A marker is a Lisp object used to specify a position in a buffer relative to the surrounding text.

A marker changes its offset from the beginning of the buffer automatically whenever text is inserted or deleted, so that it stays with the two characters on either side of it.

Regions do this, and so do bookmarks.

You’re right, thanks. I was testing regions without adding them to the view, so they were just static objects.
