Markdown: No Newline before lists

Is there a way to configure Sublime Text such that I do not need to prepend a newline to lists?

For example, in the screenshot, I dislike having to prepend a newline.

PS: I’m using the Markdown Editing and Dracula packages.

Note this is simply how some markdown implementations work - ie. they require an empty line before a list in order to treat it as a list. On the other hand the built-in markdown highlighting (not the one from Markdown Editing) works as you’re expecting.
