I was hoping someone could clarify the expected behaviour for working on macOS in fullscreen mode (split screen with another app).
First up, I’m using Sublime Text 3 build 3143 on macOS 10.13.3 (17D102) and in my settings I have open_files_in_new_window set to false. I recently changed to the Adaptive theme from Cobalt2.
I often work with a project in fullscreen mode (split 50/50 with a browser).
What I’d like to happen: when I open a new folder (CMD + O) it appears as a macOS app tab at the top of the existing fullscreen window.
What seems to happen instead is that the chosen folder opens as a brand new Sublime Text window also in fullscreen mode.
This might answer my own question (!) but this seems to only be the behaviour of the Adaptive theme - if I use the Default or my original Cobalt theme, it works as I would like.
I really like the Adaptive theme, so is there a setting somewhere that fixes this?
Attached are some screenshots of the Cobalt2 theme.
