MacOS - Open file from Finder, doesn't bring window to front

#1

I set “open_files_in_new_window”: false so that I wouldn’t keep getting new windows every time I opened a file in Finder. The problem now is that it doesn’t bring the window to the foreground, so I’m left wondering it it was opened or not and have to waste more actions on manually bringing the window to the foreground. If I’m opening a file I want to see it, I shouldn’t have to go hunting for it. How do I change this?

There I could find some issues related to this:
