macOS Native Window Tiling Shortcuts

#1

I’ve noticed both Sublime Text and Sublime Merge do not respond to the macOS Native Keyboard shortcuts for window management. These include windowing shortcuts like “Tile Left Half”, “Tile Right Half”, “Fill”, etc.

I believe these native window tiling shortcuts were introduced in macOS Sequoia (15+) and some of the default keybindings are:

  • Tile Left Half: Control + Fn + Left Arrow
  • Tile Right Half: Control + Fn + Right Arrow

A full list of these native window tiling shortcuts can be found in: macOS Settings > Keyboard > Windows.

Can support be added for this feature in Sublime Text and Merge?
Thank you!

Hi TimArt. I know this is not the specific question you asked by I’ve used Magnet – Window manager for Mac for years now and absolutely love it. It works flawlessly with Sublime - and indeed, with almost every app I throw at it.
