Mac: pressing up arrow key on first line of commit message doesn't act like a mac

#1

Hi, as a long time sublimetext user I’m really loving sublime merge. There’s just one super minor ui issue that I keep running into.

When I’m editing my commit message and I’m on the first line, pressing the up arrow key doesn’t move the cursor to the beginning of the line. up on the top line moving you to the beginning of the doc is both a macOS convention and also used by sublimeText. Because of that, it totally throws my brain off when I hit the key and nothing happens.

Thanks!

Don’t even know there is such a thing. I always use ctrl+a on macOS.

it’s cool that that works (TIL!), but what I’m asking for is all the native system text editing conventions to work too

We’ve got a fix for this in the pipeline
