Mac os mojave sshkey pw not being read - CLOSED

i have added my key to the osxkeyring and can ssh into my servers without having to type my sshkey password, but sublime merge keeps telling me “Host key verification failed” - which is clearly nonsense

how do i fix this please? or i will have to be asking for a refund and go back to using the cmdline git client, which works absolutely perfectly

Can you provide the exact output from git? If you click the git output button, it will show the last command and the output of it. Here is an example, with the big red arrow pointing to the git output button:

@wbond hmmmmmm now it is working after a second log out and log in - i will close this now and assume something took a second restart to get properly sorted out
