Mac Fullscreen Window Switch Behavior

I am running into an unexpected behavior when running ST3 in fullscreen mode together with other applications - especially Safari.

What I am seeing about 20-30% of the time is that while switching to ST3, I am instead taken to Desktop, with ST3 gaining the focus. I have no windows minimized or anything like that, so this behavior doesn’t make sense to me.

I have seen this issue also reported on this AskDifferent question.

I am curious if others are also having this issue and if there is a fix or bug report for it somewhere.

I’m pretty sure it’s a bug in Sierra. I don’t know of a workaround, but I would dearly love one!

Thanks for your response. I am wondering if any type of PRAM, etc. reset would help.

What is really interesting for me is that this doesn’t happen when my laptop is connected to an external monitor…
